1.heat the butter in a heavy-bottomed pan.add the fudge and cook over a medium flame,stirring continuously till it is light golden in colour.
2.add the sugar and milk continue stirring till the sugar melts .keep cooking over a medium flame till the fudge becomes a lumpy mass and leaves the sides of the pan.
3.remove from the flame and mix in the cardamom powder.grease a flat plate with butter and transfer the cooked lump to it.spread it out with a greased saptula or the back of a serving spoon .cut into pieces when still hot.remove from the plate only when it cools.
