Description : Recipe Banana(Vazhakka) chips - recipe from scratch

Recipe of Banana Chips
Ingredient Name	Unit	Quantity

Coconut oil	grams	300
Salt	to taste
Sour curd	cup	1/2
Unripe plantains(large)(Vazhakka)	grams	1000
Directions \| How to make Banana Chips

1)Peel off the skin of the large sized plantains and put them in water. 2)Pour sour curd into this water. :- The purpose is to remove the plantains’ serum. 3)Leave this for half an hour. 4)Strain the excess water off. 5)Heat oil in a wide pan(preferably Urali). 6)Bring it to boil. 7)Slowly, slice the plantains using a chips slicer directly into this oil. 8)When it’s cooked, sprinkle some salt water and continue stirring. 9)Turn over the chips to cook both the sides. 10)Once sure that they are crisp, use a strainer to take the chips out and place them on an absorbent paper to drain the excess oil off.
