Description : 

Lamb can be used also, but this is a hamburger beef style. Keema Mutter is minced lamb with peas. I do not know the official name. This is an American version that tastes authentic and is more juicy.

2 ways to make this---chunky or fine. If doing the fine method, use a hand blender to grind up the cooked meat, fine, before adding peas and bay leaves. 1. Fry onions in canola oil for 1 Min. Add beef that is blended with the egg whites and bread crumbs, to a pan. Add the spices and garlic. Chop up the meat while cooking. After cooked, add the beef stock and cooked peas. Simmer for 10 Min. or until tender.

Recipe Tips Serving Ideas
Add more stock if too dry. Make sure there is plenty of Indian flavor. If not, add more spice. This is not too hot. Med-hot to mild. Serve with broken rice.

About Beef -style Keema Mutter

This method makes the meat more juicy. Ever notice a meatball is juicier and softer, than a hamburger? It's the egg whites and bread crumbs that helps. Grinding the hamburger 4 times makes the meat softer.
