Directions | How to make Beef With Mandarin
 
1)Place the beef in a bowl. Mix the soy sauce, sherry, ginger and sesame oil together; stir through the meat to coat it. Set aside for 15 minutes.

2)Heat the peanut oil in a wok or heavy based frying pan, swirling gently to coat the base and sides.

3)Add the beef and stir-fry over high heat for 2 minutes, until meat changes color.

4)Add the pepper, peel, extra soy sauce and sugar; stir-fry briefly.

5)Dissolve the cornflour in a little of the stock; add the remaining stock.

6)Add the cornflour mixture to the wok and stir until the sauce boils and thickens

7)Serve with steamed rice.
