1.remove crusts from bread slices and cut into two triangles each. 2.mince lean ham. 3.heat butter. stir in flour and cook,stirring gently for two or three minutes. 4.add boiling milk and prepare a thick white sauce.season with salt and paper. 5.reduce by hjalf, stirring all the while. 6.add finely chopped ham and stiffy beaten egg whites. 7.spread mixture on pieces of bread and deep fry in hot fat about 6 minutes.serve hot.
