Cabbage	grams	250
Coconut freshly grated	cup	1/4
Curry leaves few	to taste
Green chillies	number	2-3
Mustard seeds	tsp	1
Oil	tsp	1
Onion	number	1
Salt	to taste
Turmeric powder	tsp	1/2
Urad dal	tsp	1
Directions \| How to make Cabbage Thoran

Mix Cabbage,chopped green chillies & onion well with hand. Boil the mixture with turmeric powder & salt. In the mean time grind to paste (coarsely) coconut. Once the vegetables are boiled, heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves & allow it to splutter. Then pour the above over the boiled vegetables& mix it well. Fry it for a minute or so then add the paste & mix well. Cook it for some time say 2-3 mts. Serve hot with hot rice & sambhar.
