Directions | How to make Carrot Payasam With Cashews
 
Soak the cashewnuts in 1/2 milk for 1 hr. Boil the 1 1/2 leters milk in a thick bottom bowl and keep aside. Fry the grated carrots with 2 tbls.ghee till it looks little dry. Grind the fried carrots and soaked cashews along with milk like course paste. Add the paste to the boiled milk and cook for five minutes on a low flame. Add sugar and cook few more minutes till the sugar melts completely. Keep on stirring till everything comes together. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Carrots cashews payasam is ready. Eat when it is cold.
