Directions | How to make Carrot Rasam
 
Wash toor dal . Peel th ecarrots and cut it into small pieces. Cut the tomatoes and transfer alll the three into a vessel and add 1 cup of water and cook them in a pressure cooker till it give 5-6 sounds. After that grind the dal, tomatoes and carrots in a mixer.Then transfer to a vessel add some water according to your consistency allow it to boil for some time. Add tamrind paste, coriander powder, Rasam powder,pepper powder,salt , chilli powder to it . Allow it to boil according to your taste season it with urad dal, cummin seeds, mustard seeds,curry leaves and red chilli and green chillis. take this into a bowl and garnish with corinder leaves.
