Directions | How to make Chandrakantha
 
soak moongdal for about 4 hours and grind it. Add little ghee on pan and fry the grated coconut till it becomes light brown. Then add ground moongdal and sugar to the coconut and mix it well on a low flame and add water little by little while mixing as required. The consistency should not be too thin or too thick. once the mixture is cooked, add cardmom powder and mix it well finally and pour the mixture on a greased plate and pat it straight. once the mixture is cooled, cut it into diamonds and fry the pieces in oil on a medium flame.
