Directions | How to make Dhokla
 
Soak Dal for 3 hrs. Grind this dal with little water (batter should be idlie consistency) Pour the batter into a bowl, add 1/2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of ENO mix the batter, it will be fluffy. In a microwavable pan spread little oil and pout the dal batter into the pan and cook for 6 minutes on high speed. Stand for some time and take it out. In a bowl squeeze lemon and mix with spoon ful of suga. Sprinkle this mixture on the cooked dhokla. Prepare tadka with mustard, jeera, hing and spread this on the dhokla, and add chopped corriander leaves and cut it into pieces and enjoy hot dhokla with green chutney.
Recipe Tips Serving Ideas
Add some turnmeric in to the batter to add colour to the dhokla. Serve with sweet and sour chutney.
