bottle gourd diced	number	1
channa dhal soaked and drained	cup	1/2
coconut gratings to garnish	tbsp	2
corianderpowder	tsp	1
Cumin	tsp	1
Garam masala powder	tsp	1
Garlic Ginger paste	tbsp	1
green chillies slit	number	2
oil	tbsp	2
Salt	to taste
Turmeric powder	to taste
Directions \| How to make Doodhi Chana

Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds and when they crackle add ginger and garlic paste.Next stir in the lentils and the diced gourd and green chillies & fry till the gourd gets tender.Add rest of the ingredients except the garam masala and cook until the lentils are soft.Sprinkle the garam masala over and mix gently.Finally garnish with grated Coconut & Serve. It goes well with Roti & poories.
