Directions | How to make Drum Stick Leaves(Muringa Leaves) Erissery
 
Cook dal in water with red chilli powder, manjal powder and salt. Grind scraped coconut with cumin seeds up to get a fine paste. Add the grinted mixture in to the cooked dal. When it boils add Muringa leaves and cook only 2-3 minutes. Splutter mustard seeds and dried red chillies in oil in another pan and add to it. Serve hot with rice or chappati. Note: If drum stick leaves (moringa leaves) are unavailable, try it with keera leaves(or Palak). But the best results comes with drum stick leaves.

Don't over cook after adding leaves to dal. very well goes with hot rice and chappati
