Marinating Fish: 1. Slice the fillet and place in a bowl. 2. Add the green chillies. 3. Add the sliced garlic. 4. Add ginger 5. Add a bit of salt. 6. Add the tamarind extract (medium consistency) 7. Mix well and set it aside for ½ to 1 hour. Method: 1. Heat oil in a vessel. 2. Add mustard, fenugreek seed and urad dal and fry. 3. Add curry leaves and fry. 4. Add fenugreek powder and fry a bit. 5. Add onions, a pinch of salt and fry till golden brown in color. 6. Add ginger and garlic past and fry for a minute. 7. Add a bit of water. 8. Add turmeric, coriander, paprika and chilli powders and fry. 9. Add tomatoes, reduce heat, add a bit of water and fry till tomatoes are fully cooked. 10. Add coconut powder, mix well and cook for a few minutes. 11. Add some of the marinade from the fish and continue to cook for about 5 mins. 12. Add the marinated fish and the contents of the bowl. 13. Reduce heat, check for salt and cook till fish is done. 14. Garnish with coriander leaves, stir once and turn off the heat.
