Directions | How to make Ghiya Daal
 
1. Soak Chana Daal in water for 4-5 hours. 2. Add Ghee or oil in pressure cooker and heat it. 3. Add Onion and put little salt and fry it till golden brown. 4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it for few seconds 5. Add green chillis and mix well and saute it for few more seconds. 6. Add turmric,redchilli podwer, coriander powder,kasturi methi powder and mix well 7. Add Tomatos and and mix it till tomatos slietly cooked. 8. Add Ghiya and mix well. 9. Add daal and mix well. 10. Add water in which ghiya daal is soaked and add more water if required as all the ingredients should be dipped. 11. Cover the cooker lid and cook it on midum heat for 12 minutes after the pressure made in cooker. 12. Open the cooker when pressure released and mix it well. 13. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.
