ginger-green chili paste	tsp	2
green chili, chopped	number	1
masoor dal (split red lentils)	cup	1/3
mixed vegetables (capsicum, carrots & peas) finely chopped	cup	1
moong dal (split yellow gram)	cup	1/3
mustard seeds	tsp	1/2
oil	tbsp	1
onion, chopped	number	1
salt	to taste
tomato, finely chopped	big	1
toor dal (split gram)	cup	1/3
turmeric powder	tsp	1/2
Directions \| How to make Kachumber Salad

Cut tomatoes into small cubes. Peel and cut cucumber and carrots into small cubes. Peel onions and radish and cut into small cubes. Deseed capsicum and cut into small cubes. Mix all the vegetables. Add chopped green chilies, chopped green coriander, lemon juice and salt. Toss well. Arrange in a salad bowl and serve cold.
