Ingredients used in Kaju Barfi
• Silver paper (optional) - as required.
• Khoya - 500 grams.
• Sugar - 400 grams.
• Cashew nuts - 150 grams.
• Elachi power /cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Dry grind the cashew nuts in a blender and keep aside.
  • Mix khoya (grated) and sugar and heat in a heavy pan, stirring continuously.
  • Once the sugar dissolves, add the cashew (powdered) and elaichiby cooking, constantly stir till soft lumps are formed and does not stick to sides.
  • Roll on a flat surface to desired thickness and apply silver foil.

DeliciousKaju Barfi is now ready to serve.
