Directions | How to make Kheema Potli
 
* Knead together flour,semolina,salt and ghee with warm water to make a stiff dough.Keep covered for thirty minutes.Divide the dough into twenty balls. * Remove stems, wash and chop green chillies.Clean, wash and chop coriander leaves. * Heat 2 tbsp of oil in Kadai and add cumin seeds.When they change colour add Kheema and saute` till half cooked.Add little water if required. * Add chopped ginger, green chillies, red chilli powder ,coriander powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well.Cover and cook on highheat for 10 mins, stirring continuously.Cook till Kheema is fully cooked and completely dry. * Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves and mix well and cool the mixture. *Divide in to 20 portions. * Roll dough balls into small puris(3 inches diameter ),Place a kheema portion in the centre.Apply little water on the areas a little away from the edges and shape Like POTLI or MODAK.Seal by pressing them. * Heat sufficient oil in Kadai.Deep fry in medium heat untill golden brown. * Serve with chutney of your preference.
Serving Ideas
Best served with mint chutney.
