Directions | How to make Masale Bhaat
Cut the potatoes and cauliflowers in the shape required.(big pieces) Soak the rice for about half an hour In a small pan add a drop of oil and fry all the whole masala for 5 minutes.Let it cool In a blender make a powder of the same. In a big pan heat oil. Put the mustard seeds and let it crack. then add green chillies, ginger-garlic paster,jeera and green chillies puree.Let it cook for a min. Then add the vegetables like potatoes, cauliflower and mutter. After a minute add the soaked rice to it. Then add the grinded masala and chilli powder, if required. Also add Salt, sugar(if needed).Mix all the things well. Put hot water of double the quantity as rice and cover it with a lid. Let it cook until all the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked. Garnish it with Coriander and shredded coconut. Serve hot with butter-milk.
