Directions | How to make Nankaties (Biscuits)
 
Melt and cool the ghee or butter. Add the sugar, maida, and make a dough. Normally this would make a dough but if it doesn't then add a few drops of cold milk. Allow the dough to stand for 2 hours. Then add 1/2 tsp of Vanilla essesce. Form into small balls or use biscuit cutters to make shapes. Top with a small piece of cut cherry or silver ball. Bake at 180C for 6 to 10 mins depending on the size of the biscuits... They should not brown on the top just underneath. They appear soft when warm but once cooled become hard.
