Directions | How to make Paruppu Kulambu
 
Pressure Cook Thoor dhal with Turmeric, asafoetida, green chilli,shallot, garlic and 200 ml water . Mean time cook all the vegetables with tamarind and salt. Mash the cooked dhal with cumin seeds and add it to boiled vegetables. Heat coconut oil in a kadai and crackle mustard seeds, urid dhal and add curry leaves. Garnish the Parupu kulambu .Dont boil the curry a lot , just heat it . serve hot with rice.
Serving Ideas
Serve hot with kerala red rice and ghee. This goes well with rice , fried fish or tomato curry or bitter guard fry.
