Directions | How to make Perugu Charu
 
Beat the yogurt to thick paste. Add little water(not too much.It should be still thick not very thin). In a hot pan pour oil and add mustard seeds , tumeric,cumin and urad dal.Add curry leaves ,onion and chillies and let it fry.add this to the beaten yougurt.And add salt to taste and garnish with cilantro.If you like, you can add a very little chat masala.I like to add it so.
Recipe Tips Serving Ideas
Dont let the onions fry till golden brown.let it be half done.It should be half fried and eaten as it is with rice .It gives more taste if it is crispy. with rice.
