redchouri in tamil they call as "thattampayir"
1.first fry the red chouri simply in a pan without oil. 2.then put red chouri and potato together in water and boil it for 10mins 3.take a pan add oil in that,then add mustard and cumin seeds. 4.after the mustard crackled add garlic and onion and saute it well till onion gets golden colour. 5.then add the sliced tomato to that onion and again saute it well. 6.to tat add chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder and salt to taste. 7.then add the boiled red chouri and potato along with the boiled water(dont pour more water) 8.then add tamarind water to the above mixture and keep in simmer for 7-10mins. 9.then add small amount of coriander leaves and serve it with white rice.
this gravy will b very good with rice....
