1. Wash and steam gourd ,whole and cut into half ,until half cooked . 2. Cut in to 5 cm .pieces . Remove seeds . Apply salt and set aside . 3. Boil potatoes . Peel and dice . 4. Chop onion ,green chillies and ginger . 5. Heat a little oil . Add mustard seeds ;when they crackle ,add chillies ,onion ,ginger ,turmeric ,potatoes and salt . Mix well . 6. Add lime juice .Mix again and remove . 7. Stuff gourd with potato stuffing . 8. Prepare a batter with gram flour ,salt and water . 9. Dip gourd in batter and deep fry in hot .
