1. Wash and soak gram for 2 hours. drain 2. Heat fat. add sliced garlic, chopped green chillies, turmeric and cumin. sauit.
3.add gram. fry for 5-10 minuties. 4. sprinkle water, cover and cook on a very slow fire till gram is cooked. stir occasionally and sprinkle more water if necessary.
5. When gram is cooked, add salt, stir and serve hot.
