Description : Hi Sanjay,This is very famous in AndraPradesh villages as tepalachekka and akki rotti in Karnataka. this dish I learned from my grand mother she prepares this in a traditional way.

Recipe of Tepala Chekka Or Akki Rotta

allam, pachi mirchi paste(according to your taste)	cup	1/2
Jeelakara	tsp	3
pesarappappu	cup	1/2
Rice flour	cup	3
salt	tsp	taste
verusenagapapu(palli) dry roasted and crushed-optinal	cup	1/2
Directions \| How to make Tepala Chekka Or Akki Rotta

mix all these ingredients and make very soft dough and make round balls. Easy method to make: take wax paper apply oil and take a ball and press it as thin as possible with hand and apply little oil on the top. Heat iron pan(preferably iron it gives good flavor where non stick pans does not) add oil and along with wax paper keep this akkirotti (make sure that not on wax paper side) on heated pan and remove wax paper gently and as soon as possible. Roast these akkirotti/tepalachekka on both side and sever with any curry or any pickle or chutney. But best way is eat with fresh butter(venna pusa).
