Vanaspati Or Ghee. 30 Grams
Atta (flour) 250 Grams
Jaggery 200 Grams

Directions

  • Roast atta on a tava.
  • Add grated jaggery.
  • Mix in fat.
  • Form into lime-sized balls.

What is atta - if you mean wheat flour - the sweet is no good. If besan(chickpea atta) - it is besan laddu, not atta laddu. do not just type in some random recipe, just for sake of posting. If you really mean to type in the recipe , be clear.

I have a bendtter recipe which makes lovely ladoo and has a loooong shelf life outside without refrigeration.

Take the atta(wheat flour like chapatti) as much as you want to try for.(This recipe is not strict on quantities of ingredients, the more the quantity of fat ,the more richer the ladoos will be.)Add enough ghee to make the mixture come together to form rough balls and almost like pie dough.Fry these balls in oil on medium heat till it turns light brown.Once cooled,crush by hands the balls till you get a uniform crumbly mixture.Add jaggery/sugar to taste as much sweet as you like,and more ghee to make it possible to roll into ladoo balls.If it has enough ghee then the ladoos will not break while making them in your palm.Once the laddos are made, roll them in khus mixture, for additional richness or crunch.This is an optional step, but is a wonderful touch.Enjoy.

it would be a big help if u can add timings and some more preparation tips like when to add jagery
