Recipe of Awwameh (Oriental fries)

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
flour  2 1/2 Cup
yogurt  2 1/2 Cup
yeast (ferment)  1/2 Teaspoons
Syrup  5 Cup
oil frying  5 Cup

Directions
Mix the flour with the yeast (ferment) and add the yogurt. Keep mixing until you get a fairly firm dough. Cover the dough and keep it aside in a medium temperature place until the dough gets double the size. (1 1/2 hours) We put the dough in a pouring bag with a rounded steel head. Start to put small balls of the dough into the heated oil and keep on turning them balls over until they get a golden color. Take the balls out of the oil and into the syrup, then into the serving plate.
