Ingredient Almonds/Badam Standing Time 10 Minutes

Ghee 1 Cup
Sugar 2 Cup
Badam (Almonds) 3 Cup
Water 2 Cup


Soak almond seeds in hot water for 1 hour and then peel off its skin and grind it into a very fine paste. Then put a non stick pan on stove top with low flame and put the sugar and add very little water to it... and then allow it to boil till it becomes a thick syrup. At this stage add the almond paste to the syrup and keep stirring for 3 minutes and add the ghee to the almond mixture and continue stirring. After few minutes the mixture will turn like a thick dough.. At this consistency the ingredients will get cooked well and can be served hot.

Recipe Tips

Note 1 : If the dough gets stick to the pan some more ghee can be added if required . Note 2 : Fried golden raisins and cashews can be added in the end if required.
