Recipe of Batata Chilli Fry

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Potatoes 225 Grams
Red Chillies 5 Grams
Grated Coconut 1 Tablespoons
Tamarind 5 Grams
Jaggery 1 Piece
Garlic 1 Piece
Coconut Oil 15 ml


1.Boil and peel potatoes and cut into 2.5cm (1)''cubes.

2.Grind chillies grated coconut and tamarind.

3.Add ground spices,salt jaggery (with sufficient water to cover potatoes)to the potato cubes.

4.Keep on fire.Bring to boil and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

5.Fry crushed garlic in oil.

6.Remove potatoes from fire and add fried garlic with the oil in which it was fried.

7.Stir well and serve hot.
