Recipe of Bitter Gourd Curry

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Mustard seeds   To Taste
Salt   To Taste
Green Chillies  5 Numbers
Oil   To Fry
Ginger Garlic paste   To Taste
Sesame powder roasted  4 Teaspoons
Onion  1 Big
Bitter Guords  2 Numbers
Jeera   To Taste
Jaggery or sugar  2 Teaspoons

  1. Cut the Bitter guord into long thin pieces, apply salt and keep aside for half an hour.
  2. Drain out excess water from the Bitter guord.
  3. Put oil in the pan tamper with mustard seeds, jeera seeds, ginger garlic paste then add bitter guord pieces and fry.
  4. Add onion, salt, jaggery to it.
  5. Close with the lid and cook till the onions and the bitter guord is soft, now add sesame powder to it, leave it for a minute, remove from fire.
