Ingredients used in BROAD BEANS PULAO
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Broad beans - 1-1/2 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion(chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Tomato(chopped) - 1 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Rice(soaked for 30 min) - 1/2 cup.
• Coconut(fresh grated) - 1/4 cup.
• Water - 1-1/4 cup.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and add broad beans and saute it, later transfer to a bowl.
  • In the same pan add cumin seeds, onions, a little salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and saute it.
  • To it add soaked rice, water, broad beans, freshly grated coconut, and place lid and cook it until it is done. 4. Now broad beans pulao is ready to serve with raitha.
