Ingredients used in BRUSCHETTA
• Bread (slices) - 6-8 numbers.
• Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tablespoons.
• Mixed herbs - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Olive oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tomato (finely chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Olives - 1/4 cup.
• Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Mushrooms(finely chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Green bell pepper(chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Mozzarella cheese (grated) - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Take a baking tray, add few round and oval shape bread slices.
  • In a bowl, add garlic, mixed herbs, ½ teaspoon pepper powder, olive oil, salt and mix it. Coat this mixture on bread slices and bake it for 2 minutes at 200 degree centigrade.
  • Take another bowl, add chopped tomatoes, olives, coriander leaves, lime juice, little salt, ½ teaspoon pepper powder, mozzarella cheese and mix to make first stuffing mixture.
  • In another bowl add chopped mushrooms, green bell pepper, dry mixed herbs, little salt and mix to make second stuffing mixture. Remove from oven and stuff few bread toast with first stuffing mixture and another with second stuffing mixture, later bake it for another 1 minute.

Now bruschetta is ready to serve with tabasco sauce.

Did you know that this dish is popular mainly in central Italy? It is served usually before eating pizza and it is basically made with tomatoes salt and pepper, but I recommend you try another version with zucchini blossom, anchovies and mozzarella,
