Recipe of Carrot Pickle

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
chillie powder  1 Tablespoons
coumin  1 Teaspoons
carrots  1 Lbs
mustard oil  1 Cup
mustard  1 Tablespoons
salt  2 Tablespoons
turmeric  1 Tablespoons

1. Scrape the carrots. Wash and cut or slice into 1/2 thick pieces.
2. Heat the oil and remove from the fire.
3. Add mustard, termeric and cumin to the hot oil.
4. Add carrots, chillie powder and salt.
5. Cool and pack in jars and leave in a warm, sunny place for 10 days before using as a n accompaniement to a meal.
