1.Joint chicken.2.Peel and boil onions. Drain water and grind to a smooth paste.3.Roast poppy seeds slightly.4.Grind poppy seeds, cashnuts, green chillies, ginger and garlic separately.5.Heat fat. Add onions and fry on slow fire. Add ginger and garlic and fry withoutdiscolouring. Add poppy seeds and green chillies. Fry again.6.Add chicken, fry well. Cover and cook. Add a little water if required.7.Add curds and cashewnut paste. Fry again till dry.8.Add a little water to make a gravy.9.Sprinkle with cardamom powder. Mix well, remove and serve.
