Recipe of Chicken Mulligatawny Curry

Small Onions 115 Grams
Garlic 6 Numbers
Ginger 2.5cm Piece
Cinnamon Piece
Tomatoes 225 Grams
Curry Leaves
Salt 2 Teaspoons
Kashmiri Chilies 2 Teaspoons
Coriander 10 Grams
Cumin Piece
Fennel 3 Grams
Peppercorns 20 Grams
Split Bengal Gram 10 Grams
Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoons
Coconut 1/2 Numbers
Lime 1 Numbers
For Tempering
Clarified Butter 10 Grams
Red Onion 1 Numbers
Curry Leaves To Taste

Directions

1. Joint the chicken and simmer gently with the next seven ingredients for about 10 minutes .

2. Roast red chillies and bengal gram separately . Grind together second lot of ingredients to a smooth paste .

3. Add second extract of coconut milk and ground spice to chicken and cook till tender .

 4. Add first extract of coconut milk and bring to boil . Remove.

5. Add lime juice and remove . Temper
