Recipe of Chicken Rasam

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Chicken 1/2 Lbs
Tamarind Water 1 Cup
Coriander Powder 1 Teaspoons
Garam Masala 1/2 Teaspoons
Cumin Powder 1 Teaspoons
Pepper 1/2 Teaspoons
Tomato 4 Numbers
Garlic 2 Numbers
Oil 1 Tablespoons
Salt To Taste
Urad Dhal To Taste
Curry Leaves To Taste
Cilantro For Garnishing To Taste
Oil 1 Teaspoons
Mustard Seeds To Taste


  1. Heat oil in a vessel. Add garlic, when it turns brown add tomato
  2. Then add chicken pieces and stir well.
  3. Then add coriander powder, garam masala, cumin & pepper. Stir well.
  4. Add water if necessary and close the vessel for 5 - 10 min.
  5. Check if the chicken is cooked.
  6. Then add tamarind water and salt.
  7. Allow it to boil and season it.

He's listed rest of the ingredients last for seasoning and garnishing. All he's left out is the mention about garnishing.

the recipe u posted as chicken rasam is good try but do u actually used all the ingredients..
bcoz in ur recipe many ingredients are not used revise ur recipe and re post it :P
