dry fry the red chillies. separate the seeds.now grind the chilly seeds with grated Coconut, tamarind and salt into a fine paste.
heat oil in a pan.add mustard seeds. when they splutter, add the chutney paste. stir and remove from fire.
If it is too hot for you, the chilly seeds should be decreased in amount.
the chutney is good for winter. serve with chapatis or rotis.
