Description: Coconut chutney is a simple mixture of coconut, garlic, green chillies and spices. This chutney is typically made in Maharashtrian style.

Recipe of COCONUT CHUTNEY MAHARASHTRIAN STYLE

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Lemon Juice few Drops
Sugar Or Jaggery 1/2 Teaspoons
Salt To Taste
Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoons
Garlic Cloves 5-6 Numbers
Coriander Leaves few Springs
Green Chillies, Chopped 4-5 Numbers
Fresh Grated Coconut 1/2 Numbers

Directions

1. Grind together coconut, green chilies, garlic, cumin seeds, salt, sugar and coriander leaves. Blend to a coarse paste.
2. Add lemon juice and serve.
3. This is freshly made and served with vada pav, kanda bhajiya and various other snacks.
