Recipe of dahi machi ( a)

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Fish 500 Grams
Curds 225 Grams
Cloves 5 Grams
Cardamom 5 Grams
Cumin 5 Grams
Onions 115 Grams
Turmeric Pinch
Ginger Piece
Salt To Taste
Mustard Oil 15 ml

Directions

1. Powder cloves, cinnamom and cumin.

2. Cut fish and soak in curds for half an hour.

3. Slice half the onion and grind remaining half with ginger to a fine paste.

4. Heat oil and brown onions add ground ingredients fry well.

5. Add remaining ingredients and cook till fish becomes tender.
