Description: Dosa made with rice, urad dal

Recipe of dosa dosai

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Water as needed
Salt as needed
Fenugreek Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Channa Dal 1/4 Cup
Ural Dal 1 Cup
Rice 2 Cup
Oil as needed

Directions

Take a bowl add rice,ural dal, channa dal,fenugreek seeds, wash and soke  for 6 hrs.

After 6 hrs blend it into a fine paste and keep it for ferment over night.

next day add salt and mix.

Heat tava pour the batter and spread it applie oil remove once it is gloden brown colour.

Can you let me know what type of pan has to be used to prepare a dosa? on a non stick frying pan the dosa doesnt come out well.

Dear Chef, I liked ur recipe and want to try it but not sure which rice should I use for preparing Masala Dosa Dosa. Should I use Idli Rice or raw rice. Can u please help me. Regards Sunita

I follow your videos whenever i want to make south indian dishes, everything turned out very well. :) I am planning to try out Dosa recipe as well.

Need a small advice. I live in US and climate is very cold here. Fermentation for Idly/Dosa's batter is not very easy. Appreciate your tips for this.

I love your recipes and videos, but you left the fermenting step out of the dosa video. I had to figure it out for myself!
