Ingredients used in FALDAHRI KOFTA
• Plantain(grated) - 1 cup.
• Paneer(grated) - 1 cup.
• Cashew nuts paste - 1/4 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic (crushed) - 3 numbers.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• All purpose flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Besan - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - to fry.
• Green chilli(chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Onion - 2 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Sugar - 1 pinch.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Take a bowl add boiled and grated plantain,grated paneer,salt, pepper powder, crushed garlic and chopped ginger, all purpose flour, besan mix all the ingredients and convert them into koftas.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry till they turn golden brown.
  • For the gravy : Heat oil in a kadai add chopped green chilli, boiled onion paste, salt, ginger garlic paste saute for 1 minute.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cashew nuts paste, when the mixture is cooked add tomato puree and also add required water pinch of sugar, garam masala mix well and cook for 10 minutes with the lid on.
  • After 10 minutes add fried koftas cook for 5 minutes then switch off the flame.

Serve this with Rice or roti.
