Recipe of French fries
Peel the potatoes and cut them into long straight pieces. Heat oil in a pan at medium flame and fry the potatoes till they are properly cooked. Fry all the potato pieces and keep aside. Now increase the flame to high and fry the already fried potato pieces till they turn to golden brown. Take them in a vessel and add salt and pepper and serve hot with tomato ketchup or sauce.
Keep the cut potatos in cold water for some time and wipe them with a clean cloth before frying them.
