Ingredients used in FRUIT CAKE
• Butter - 200 grams.
• Powdered sugar - 200 grams.
• Eggs - 5 numbers.
• All purpose flour - 200 grams.
• Baking powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Rum - 1 tea spoon.
• Vanilla essence - 2 teaspoons.
• Whisky - 1 tea spoon.
• Caramelized sugar - 2 teaspoons.
• Cherries - 1 tablespoon.
• Cashewnuts - 1 tablespoon.
• Dates - 1 tablespoon.
• Tutti fruitti-red and green - 2 tablespoons.
• Raisins - 1 tablespoon.
• Pista - 1 tablespoon.
• Almonds - 1 tablespoon.
• Melon seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger powder - pinch.
• Fennel powder - pinch.
• Garam masala - pinch.
• Nutmeg powder - pinch.
• Caraway seeds - pinch.
• Salt - pinch.
Method:
  • Take butter in a bowl and mix it nicely then add powdered sugar and mix well again.
  • Add eggs slowly and beat it nicely.
  • Now add all purpose flour with baking powder in it and mix it.
  • Add vanilla essence, little rum, whisky, caramelized sugar, cherries, cashew nuts, dates, tutti fruitti-red and green, raisins, pista, almonds, melon seeds, ginger powder, fennel powder, garam masala, nutmeg powder, caraway seeds, salt, and mix properly.
  • Grease the bread tin and transfer the mixture into it.
  • Bake this in owen for 20-25 minutes at 180 degree centigrade.
  • Check this with a tooth pick, if it comes out neat it means it’s baked properly.
