Ingredients used in Coconut Crusted Jumbo Prawns
• Jumbo prawns, de-veined - 3 number.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - half tea spoon.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaf(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Egg - 1 number.
• All purpose flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Desiccated coconut - half cup.
Method:
  • Clean and de-vein the jumbo prawns.
  • In a mixing bowl, add lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, pepper powder, red chilli powder, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt (to taste), beaten egg and mix well.
  • Dip the jumbo prawn in the marination and coat them well on all sides.
  • Then coat them with desiccated coconut and keep aside.
  • Preheat the Philips Airfryer at 180 degree centigrade for 3 minutes.
  • Place the jumbo prawns in air and fry at 180 degree centigrade for 6-8 minutes.

Delicious Coconut crushed Jumbo prawns is ready to serve.

Recipe of Coconut Crusted Jumbo Prawns:

Ingredients:

Jumbo Prawns, de-veined    -       3 – 4 nos

Lemon juice                             -       1 no

Ginger garlic pd                       -       ½ tsp

Turmeric pd                             -       pinch

Pepper pd                                 -       ½ tsp

Chilli pd                                    -       1 tsp

Coriander leaves, chopped   -       1 tbsp

Curry leaf, chopped                -       1 tbsp

Salt                                             -       to taste

Egg, beaten                               -       1 no

Flour                                          -       2 tsp

Directions:

  1. Clean and de-vein the jumbo prawns.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, pepper powder, chilli powder, coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt to taste and beaten egg.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well together.
  4. Dip the jumbo prawn in the marinade and coat them well on all sides.
  5. Take out and coat with desiccated coconut. Keep aside.
  6. Preheat the Philips Airfryer at 180 degree C for 3 minutes.
  7. Take out the basket and place the jumbo prawns.
  8. Air fry the jumbo prawns at 180 degree C for 6-8 mins.
  9. Remove and serve with any sauce.
