Today, I am here wishing that you all try some of my favourite Paratha recipes as most of them are highly nutritious and healthy to eat. Parathas are popular breakfast breads that are thick and flaky made with unleavened flour, pan fried and often served hot with a dollop of butter, any variety of curry, chutney or raita.

Paratha is very popular north Indian breads that is prepared in most north Indian homes, restaurants and dhabas. Paratha is generally the essential breakfast especially in North India and mainly in the state of Punjab. Every home in north India has it own way of preparing the paratha using a variety of stuffing’s and spices.

These breads vary from region to region reflecting the diversity of Indian culture and food habits. Parathas are usually stuffed with a variety of vegetables, green leafy vegetable, lentils, paneer or mince meat. There are several versions of stuffed parathas such as Aloo Paratha, Gobi Paratha or Keema Paratha and many more.

Below listed are some of my most favourite Paratha recipes that I wish to share with you all and hope that you all also try them and enjoy the taste.

Paneer Paratha Paneer Paratha is a popular Punjabi paratha recipe. A delicious double-layer of paratha filled with spiced paneer or cottage cheese is an experience one should die for. 

Oats Masala Paratha Oats Masala Paratha yummy quite an interesting, healthy and nutritious combination! Oats is a wonderful powerhouse of nutrition and awesomely delicious breakfast with great goodness and health benefits.Eating paratha many variety of parathas for breakfast, lunch or dinner is a common feature in India.  Made with whole wheat flour stuffed with a mixture of oats and spices and cooked together makes a healthier version as whole wheat has more fibre, protein and vitamins.

Indian Garlic Bread Garlic Parathas Garlic parathas are Indian flat whole wheat bread with garlicky flavour. 

Kerala parotta - Malabar Paratha Malabar paratha, the very name itself makes the mouth water. Any dish from the Malabar region is a delicacy. The delectable gently cooked, mild flavored Malabar recipes are a pride to South Indian cooking. The Malabar cuisine is famous for the non vegetarian recipes. When it comes to the vegetarian dishes the Malabar parathas takes the top position. These layered flaky flat bread just melts away in your mouth. This is one bread which demands ultimate patience and care while in process. This is made of maida and tastes excellent with Veg Korma or any gravy.

Tasty Onion Paratha Onion Bread Crispy Onion paratha is an amazing Indian flat bread that is flavoured with onion water, stuffed with onion masala and pan fried until done. 

Masala Egg Paratha Masala Egg Paratha is a delicious Indian flat bread made with grated boiled egg spice mix stuffed in whole wheat bread dough and pan fried until golden in colour. 

Keema Paratha Keema paratha is a popular unleavened flat bread stuffed with spiced minced meat. 

Methi paratha Methi paratha is an Indian flaky stuffed, flat bread made up of whole wheat flour and fenugreek greens or methi leaves. 

Aloo Paratha This is a very popular North Indian bread made with mashed potatoes and spices. 

Cauliflower Paratha Gobi or cauliflower grows abundantly in the Punjab. This vegetable is enjoyed by people of all ages and is a specialty at most celebration and religious gatherings. Gobi has been combined with a masala and used as a stuffing for a parathas. Serve these hot golden brown parathas glistening with ghee, with some plain curd or pickle.

Mooli paratha Raddish paratha Mooli paratha is a very popular dish in North India. It is a paratha made by stuffing grated radish mixed with spices and baked on a tawa. 

Mint Paratha Popular Indian whole wheat flat bread flavoured with mint (pudina). 

Beetroot Paratha Beetroot paratha is a beautiful bright coloured paratha that is healthy and delicious to. Serve with curd, curries or chutneys. 

Pyaz Tamater Tikkar Rajasthani Paratha Pyaz Tamater Tikkar - Rajasthani Paratha – A popular Rajasthani paratha made with corn meal flour (makkai ka atta), whole wheat flour mixed with some finely chopped onion, tomatoes and other spices and pan fried like a paratha. 

Palak Paneer Paratha An whole wheat flour Indian flat bread stuffed with a mix of spinach and paneer (Indian cottage cheese).

Green peas paratha Green Peas paratha is a very delicious, healthy and filling breakfast. It can be served with pickles or curd. 

Do try these easy to prepare Indian flat breads as they are truly nutritious and healthy to eat. You can eat them with any type of dry or gravy curries, chutney or would also taste extremely good with raita.
