There are a bunch of people who love making a quick and appetizing one pot meal without taking the strain of making a variety of dishes. For such people, these below listed Chicken and Rice recipes would really be a great treat and worth making as they are just yummy and delectable to eat.

Most of us love eating non-vegetarian foods. There are a variety of rice preparations that can be made with varied types of meats. You could make an array of biryanis, pulao or pilaf or fried rice with rice, spices and meats like mutton, chicken, fish, shrimps or prawns.

Rice is one of the most popular foods eaten by most of us. It is also an important staple food that is widely consumed in Asia. Rice is a versatile ingredient that is easy to cook, can be made as a main dish, side dish, dessert or added into making some mouth-melting, yummy snacks to complete an appetizing and scrumptious meal!

There are umpteen Chicken and Rice recipes that can simply drool your taste buds and tempt you for eating more food. Most of these rice preparations are simple to cook and freshly homemade food is always healthy and nutritious.

Listed below are some of my favorite and popular Chicken and Rice recipes:

Chicken Biryani Restaurant Style This is kind of restaurant style of preparation of Biryani which is not cooked in Dum Method of Cooking but they cook chicken separately with same masalas which we use for biryani and rice will be cooked separately and  if the order comes they mix rice and chicken together and serve because the same rice can also used for vegetarian Biryanis too.

Chicken Fried Rice Chicken fried rice Fried rice is a popular dish in the Asian cuisine especially Chinese food. The dish is made of rice stir fried in a wok with other ingredients such as eggs, vegetables and different types of meats (chicken and shrimp are the most popular) and spices/ sauces.

Chicken Biryani Arabic Makloubeh Rice Makloubeh is an upside-down delicious Middle Eastern rice dish. Makloubeh (which translates literally into upside down) is a famous Levantine one pot rice, spice and vegetable dish.

Chicken pukhi Biryani Chicken biryani cooked in pukhi style (cooked seperately). Chicken biryani cooked in pukhi style of cooking the rice and chicken separately and then combining together.

Khan Biryani The Khan biryani is yet another elaborate and exotic rice delicacy made of marinated spiced chicken and aromatic rice (basmati rice) cooked together that conjures up images of a grand feasts or royal celebration. This dish is heavenly with the subtle sublime blend of flavors, fragrances, textures and colors.

Chooza biryani aromatic basmati rice with spring chicken Chooza biryani is one of aromatic and special recipe which made from fresh spring chicken with aromatic basmati rice. This literally means juicy chicken made with some spice marination.

Vahchef Special White Chicken Biryani The name in itself says that it is a royal dish among all the other rice preparations of India. It is served on all auspicious and special occasions. When it comes to Biryani, one can understand by the tempting aroma and fragrance of the dish, how much effort the cook has put into it. White Chicken Biryani with you all which is actually a combination of Dum Biryani and Yakhni Pulao.

Mexican Rice Sautéed vegetables boiled rajma, a sprinkling of chili flakes and steamed rice come together in this delicious Mexican rice.

Singapore chicken rice (Hainnaise chicken) Hainanese chicken rice is a dish of Chinese origin, and is most commonly associated with Hainanese, Malaysian and Singaporean cuisines, although it is also sold in Thailand. It is based on the well-known Hainanese dish called Wenchang chicken, due to its roots in Hainan cuisine.

Curry Biryani Curry Biryani is a brilliant rice preparation dish made with chicken cooked in a spicy, flavourful curry and aromatic basmati rice cooked separately. These types of rice preparations are prepared during large scale functions where flavoured rice is topped with chicken curry.

Fried Chicken Biryani This biryani is slightly different from the usual method, the chicken is first fried and them added to the masala. It was a Trivandrum style biryani, but the frying took the  flavour and taste to a new level.

Pot Chicken Rice Oriental Biryani Claypot chicken rice is popular in many Asian countries, for example: Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, It’s a breeze to put together and tastes absolutely delicious cooking in claypot directly.

Bhatkali Chicken Biryani Karnataka Speciality Bhatkali biryani is a special biryani savoured in all parts of coastal Karnataka and forms an integral part of Navayath cuisine. The Bhatkal's biryani evolved from the Bombay biryani which was further refined to give a distinct color taste and flavour. Bhatkali biryani can be of various kinds, which include biryani made from mutton, fish, chicken, or shrimp. Bhatkali biryani is one of the most common wedding meals in Bhatkal and surrounding towns like Honavar, Murdeshwar, Manki, Shiroor, Byndoor, Gangolli, Kundapur all the way till Mangalore.

Andhra Chicken Pulao Andhra chicken pulao or Kodi pulao is a scrumptious one pot meal made with fresh spices, cooked meats or sautéed vegetables with rice (uncooked rice) combined together until done.It's a great one-pot meal, and a delicious weekday alternative to your old meat and potatoes standby. Spice it up in the kitchen and switch it up with this delicious Indian dish! Kodi pulao is prepared with adding chicken with fine meat, rice and seasonings. Kodi pulao is akin to biriyani but is lighter and is not greasy. Kodi pulao is served hot at the lunch table and is a favoured Indian food, as tasty as a Biryani (special-ocassion rice and meat or veg dish) but far simpler and quicker to prepare.
