Recipe of kakarakaya pachadi

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Salt half Cup
Red Chilli Powder 1 Cup
Onion 2 Numbers
Tamarind hand full
Bitter Gourd 3 Numbers
Oil 1 Cup
Garlic 1 Numbers
Curry Leaves

Directions

- peel the bitter gourd and cut it into small peaces . - soak the tamarind atleast 10 min . - cut the onions into small peaces . - next grind these ingredients (bitter gourd,tamarind,onions) with red chilli powder and salt . - for tempering take pan , put much oil in pan , add curry leaves , garlic and grinded paste , fry it for 15 mins . - sanjay try it once it gives very nice taste trust me - actually the quantity of all ingredients depens on cut pieces of bittergourd(all are same ratio). I really love kakarkaya !! but you haven't explained it in a detailed way. am not sure sure what you meant by peeling the kakarkaya .. but anyway will give it a try .

My husband is a big fan of Bittergaurd....but i dont know many recipes of it..will give this a try..
