Ingredients used in Kesari Bath
• Raisins - 1 dozens.
• Cloves - 7 clove.
• Ghee - 1 cup.
• Water - 2 cup.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Sooji ( rava ) - 1 cup.
• Cashewnuts - 1 dozens.
• Colour ( yellow ) - 1 tablespoons.
Method:

Pls reply to me this mail. hramaravathy@gmail.com KESARI BATH Take a Cooker heat 1 cup of Ghee then add cloves,cashew nuts, Raisins and fry till it turns to brown .Later add 1 cup of Sooji ( Rava ) amp; fry for 2 min amp; add 1 Cup of sugar amp; add 1 tbsp of colour ( Yellow ) amp; now add 2 Cups of water to it amp; mix well amp; close the cooker lid .Cook it for 5 - 7 Min in low flame ( till Whisitle comes ) Remove the cooker from fire amp; keep it under the running water for 2 mins. Now its ready for serving. Enjoy amp; let me Know. Regards Amaravathy Bangalore

This recipe turned out sooo good. I made it today morning for Prasadam. Thanks for the receipe. In Karnataka not only rice even for this dish they call it as Kesari Bath and for Upma Khara Bath. It is a combination for the breakfast.

how can u call that recipe kesari bhat coz bhat means rice!! u haven't used rice there but used rava so it must be called sheera not bhat.. made me confuse!!...
