Recipe of Khichdi

Cinnamon 4 Piece
Sugar 2 Tablespoons
Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoons
Coconut 1/2 Numbers
Ghee 1 Tablespoons
Refine Oil 1/2 Cup
Ginger 1 Numbers
Resins 20 Numbers
Cashewnuts 10 Numbers
Green Gram Dal 1 Cup
Rice 1 Cup
Cardamom 4 Numbers
Green Chillies 10 Numbers
Turmeric Powder & Salt To Taste

Directions

Wash the rice and dal properly. Cut the coconut into small pieces. Put oil ina a pan and fry the coconut pieces and cashewnut. Keep it aside. Chop the ginger and chillies. Heat oil and put the cumin seeds and cardamom and cinnamon pieces. Add the rice and dal. Put the chopped ginger and chillies,salt and turmeric powder and fry it for 10-15 minutes. Add 5cups of water to it. Put the resins, cashewnuts, sugar, fried coconut pieces and cover the lid. Take out when cooked.

Garam = Chana Dal
Green = Moog (Green)
