Recipe of Lamb with dried limes and chick peas

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Onions, Chopped 2 Numbers
Olive Oil 2 Tablespoons
Lamb, Cut Into Strips 1000 Grams
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Water 2 Cup
Tomato Paste 1 Tablespoons
Mixed Arabian Spices 1 Teaspoons
Ground Cardamon 1/2 Teaspoons
Dried Limes 2 Numbers
Chick Peas, Soaked Overnight And Slightly Smashed 1/2 Cup


Saute the onions in the oil until soft and transparent. Add the lamb, sprinkle with salt and pepper and brown on all sides. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer until the meat and chick peas are tender - about 2 hours. If the stew becomes too dry, add a little water. Serve with rice.
